Upcoming inserts for Oct. 2

I hate that I have to write this, but I do. This coming week, in the October 2^nd paper, there should be 4 inserts. 1 Red Plum, 1 Smart Source, 1 Proctor and Gamble, and 1 Moments to Save from Pepsi. I will post in the morning on Sunday to share if our region got everything, but when you go to the store to get your paper, LOOK AT THE INSIDE FIRST!!!

Some of the hard core couponers know this is a good insert week, and unfortunately steal them. And with TLC’s Season 2 Extreme Couponing starting tonight, it might get a little wild. Sad but true. Keep your eyes peeled.

**RARE** Del Monte fresh produce coupon.

This is a rare Del Monte fresh produce coupon. It requires a registration and you will receive it in your email. Now, it is a $.50 coupon, and you might think “no big deal”, but it can be doubled at Shaw’s and you can click back and print a second one. That is ultimately $2. Produce coupons are few and far between, Take 60 seconds and do it. This expires 12/31/11, so you have plenty of time to use it, but you DON’T have plenty of time to print it. Go, go GO!!

Have I mentioned I love Rite Aid?

At the risk of anyone claiming we are all about the sugar, in all fairness, my old man drinks the diet, and his employee drinks the regular. The chocolate is mine, no shame. Total retail, over $90. Total out of pocket, $4.20. Feel free to add the price before sale on each receipt.

I realize the drugstore retail prices are more than the grocery stores, but consider how many times you have popped in spontaneously and paid the full retail price. Now consider purposefully paying 5% retail on one very great week.

 No really, if you know anyone that would like a coupon lesson, throw them my way ;)

Shaw's Dollar Doubler Friday Sept. 30th

I did not post Shaw’s this week because I was just not inspired. BUT, next week promises to be interesting at the very least. Go through your binders, or however you organize your coupons. Pull out all the food coupons worth $1 and put the aside for Friday. I am ALL OVER THIS tomorrow. PUMPED!!

See, if they are sticking by the same rules, you will (should) be able to use (4) $1 doubled Q’s in conjunction with the 6 for under $1. Although they have not released an expiration yet, I suspect that it will last at least a few days. We shall see. This could very well be a one day thing, so get organized now.

Many items are worth trying with the $2 off coupon, even if they are not on sale. So keep you mind and your eyes open.
